Liverpool

    1. Study this plan:

    3. Check to see if there is a plan of the section you want at: Liverpool Indexes

    4. You may be lucky, there are plans for:

    5. Find out the surnames of the people in the three plots either side, Example:

6. You can find the above information by consulting the Plot Records or by send £2 via PayPal to
pat@paddygreengrass.co.uk Make sure you give me the section & plot you want to find.

7. Go to the section and work out how it is numbered. This is done by looking on the back of the
headstones (not all are numbered, sorry). There are normally enough numbered to help you
    in this task.

8. Pick a warm, dry, windless day to visit Ford Cemetery, if you don't, make sure you are well
wrapped-up, it is very exposed and the damp ground can suck the warmth from your body.
Wear stout shoes and a coat that will kept out the wind and rain.

9. Put your printed information in plastic sleeves, that way you should still be able to read them if it
rains and the wind blows it out your cold hand and you have to retrieve it from under some ivy, a
bush or someone's car (there's not many bushes at Ford Cemetery).

10. Make sure you lock you car and keep valuables out of site.
