I have on microfiche the
Combined Index to FORD, YEW TREE & AINSDALE Roman Catholic
Cemeteries (1859 - 1989). Most of the interments are at Ford.
The index contains over 300,000

ancestors. I also have the Plot Records
which give the interment details of each plot.
I can take enquiries over
the phone (if I am home!). If I am
not at home, I will get back to you.
Call or text me on

me that you have sent an
email. I'm available 7 days a week from 09:00 to
21:00 hours.

have had a couple of clients who
have not paid once they were given the information.... These
people have spoilt it for the rest!

Tuesday 26
April 2011; Just found out that
www.ancestry.co.uk have
'Liverpool, Lancashire, England, Catholic Burials, 1813-1988 Record'
(Ford & Yew Tree Cemetery records are included). These records will be more accurate than the information I
have on fiche!
Example of a page from Ancestry:
Thursday 26 May 2011; I am getting a lot of emails and phone calls
about problems with the Ford Cemetery Records on Ancestry.
The main problem seems to be that the person who is the Plot
Owner/Deed Holder has been indexed as being interred (buried) every time
they
have some communications with the Liverpool Roman Catholic
Burial Board. One email from a very upset lady said:
'The
botch-up on the Liverpool burial records goes back to the 1930's at least. I
had a look at my husband's family from 1931 onwards, grave P???.
The grave owner ???? ????, is recorded as being buried ??
July 1931, but it is her husband ??? ????? who was buried July 1931.
Then ???? ??? appears again for burial when her granddaughter
(???? ???) is buried in P??? Jan 1933. And so every time a new relative is
buried in plot P???, the plot owner ???? ??? is also
buried!!! I think when ???? ??? eventually dies in 1945 there are no less
than 3 entries on
Ancestry ...'
(I have removed the names and plot with ? to hide the identities of the family!)
